As a Director within our Customer Consulting Practice, you’ll lead projects to help our clients solve complex problems in customer experience (CX), meter-to-cash, and customer energy programs. You’ll help analyze and evaluate processes, policies, and technologies that support their practices to deliver positive experiences and engaging communications, develop a customer-centric culture, and offer effective programs and services.

How you’ll help:
- Lead key projects around CX work, including strategy development, design thinking, journey mapping, and customer research to identify strengths and opportunities to improve the customer experience for our utility clients’ customers.
- Engage in the sales process with clients to clearly scope the solution along our delivery team
- Lead client meetings and workshops, work with our delivery team project planning and project status reporting and other activities as directed by project leaders.
- Develop processes and marketing content for the practice (e.g. standard operating procedures, case studies, white papers, etc.)
- Manage development of team members within the practice through performance coaching, career development, and skills enhancements
- Drive staff engagement by mentoring consultants interested in joining the customer practice
- Establish and maintain deep and trusted relationships with clients
- Manage partner and client relationships so E Source remains the ‘go-to’ partner or provider
What will make you a great fit:
- At least 15 years of consulting or industry experience and a minimum of 8 years consulting experience
- Previous experience leading large customer transformations across people, process, and technology
- Expertise in meter-to-cash and customer service operations topics
- Experience working with CIS vendors and implementors
- Ability to summarize complex material and develop excellent presentations that tell the story and engage our clients.
- Proven ability to take initiative and prioritize work.
- Critical-thinking and proactive problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and be a team player with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Willingness and ability to travel to client sites (currently estimated at about 50% of your work time, depending on client needs)

The budgeted salary for this position is:
- $200,000 - $240,000 USD + annual bonus.
Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
This role will require travel depending on the client expectations, and the needs of the engagement and to achieve expected sales. Travel could be extensive.
