This role will develop and execute an effective and growth focused business strategy for Truist Wholesale use of Tickets, Suites, Events & Sponsorships. This leader will be accountable for increasing effectiveness of these assets across Wholesale LOBS, including Commercial & Corporate Banking, Investment Banking & Capital Markets, Wealth, Commercial Real Estate, Enterprise Payments, and Wholesale Credit Delivery. This will include the optimization of these assets, as well as the development of new assets. May manage a team.

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with groups across Marketing, including Sports Marketing, Golf Marketing, Sponsorships, Events teams and other key business partners to execute on strategy.
  • Build routines, working with key partners in Marketing, LOBs, and Data & Analytics, for reporting which will be used by each LOB in Wholesale to measure the growth of our business and to help guide executives in decision making for improved asset usage.
  • Influence to help build agreement across our Wholesale LOBs and to serve as the key leader that represents Wholesale across the Enterprise.
  • Responsible for leading key governance activities, including establishing the new Wholesales Tickets, Suites, Events and Sponsorship Council and for developing quarterly reports to the Wholesale Banking Leadership Team and where requested to the CEO.
  • Responsible for maintaining a risk mindset and work with our risk teams to ensure we have documented processes for assets being used by teammates and clients.
  • Develop and drive consistent adoption of templates, processes, and approaches to streamline core and common functions.
  • Collaborate with functional partners including finance, HR, credit & risk management, legal & compliance, marketing & communications, events, and technology.
  • Support a culture of collaboration and trust through frequent and transparent communication, professionalism, and respect.
  • May manage a team.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in business, or equivalent education and related training or experience to include 8+ years of experience in positions that carry increasing levels of responsibility, including experience in strategy or business consulting
2. Critical-thinking skills; ability to break-down large, abstract problems or questions into sub-components and develop comprehensive and cohesive recommendations, with supporting data/rationale
3. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
4. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
5. Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels in the organization
6. Advanced proficiency with MS Office tools: PowerPoint, Excel and Word


Preferred Qualifications:

1. Strong knowledge and experience in strategic planning and execution, including creating and executing comprehensive plans associated with corporate Tickets, Suites, Events & Sponsorships

2. Strong executive presence and communication skills relevant or deep experience working with executive leadership and their teams.

3. Proven ability to collaborate across Lines of Business, as well as the Enterprise

4. Ability to translate and present complex data in a manner that educates, enhances understanding, and influences decisions

5. Deep knowledge of all Wholesale Lines of Business

Sense of urgency and ability to multi-task and manage competing projects in a deadline-driven environment
