The City of Petoskey is currently seeking applications for a Public Works Technician – Electric Lineman.  Minimum qualifications require a high school diploma; knowledge of standard practices, methods, materials and tools used for electric distribution service work and knowledge of theory and operation of electrical systems.  Must possess or have the ability to obtain Journeyman’s Certification from an apprenticeship training program; and possess a valid Michigan Commercial Driver’s License, Group A with required endorsements.  Journeyman Certification, training or experience preferred.
