As a Field Service Dispatcher at United Rentals, you will be tasked with organizing the daily dispatch of Service Techs for a metro area in a safe and timely manner. You will work closely with Service and Operations Managers and Inside Sales Reps to ensure repairs are properly scheduled and executed to guarantee superior customer service. Additional duties include the following:
Oversee dispatch of Field Service Techs within the metro-area to maximize efficiency and customer repair responsiveness
Monitor Service Tech progress and adjust schedules as service requests come in
Optimize use of overtime to deliver superior customer service
As needed, support branches in maintaining customer relations via phone, making additions, cancellations, and changes regarding equipment repairs or exchanges
Demonstrate commitment to safety and discipline through exemplary personal compliance, accountability and pro-active communication
Perform all safety inspections within company and governmental policies
Other duties assigned as needed
Job Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
Diligent attention to safety
Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Strong leadership, organization and communication skills
