Health and Safety Engineer Co-Op/Intern
Where will you work:
FishHawk site located in Lithia, FL with occasional travel to other Florida sites.

What will you do?
Day to day work assignments assigned by the supervisor and could include:
Use existing EHS data, including lagging and leading indicators, to identify trends and provide input into critical EHS strategic planning.
With support from a Senior EHS Technology and Data Analyst, design a technology solution for EHS data collection or analysis including PowerBI Dashboard and/ or PowerApp potentially with the use of AI tools.
Support EHS Operations Services to include Employee Observation, Contractor Safety, and Emergency Response Program across North American operations.
Attend department meetings and meetings specific to the project assignment.
Adhering to Mosaic’s mission, guiding principles and priorities, and key competencies
What do you need for this role?
Sophomore level by January 2026 or higher pursuing a bachelor's degree in Chemical, Computer Science, Data Science, Environmental, Industrial Systems, Mechanical and/or, Process Engineering.
2.75 GPA or higher
1-2 years of experience volunteering, working with student/school organizations, or work is preferred.
Previous internship or co-op experience is preferred.
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license - You will need to be able to travel to and from sites and/or office.
Ability to work full time and be a student in standing at the time of the co-op/internship
Selected candidates will be required to successfully complete the following: Post-offer/pre-placement drug and alcohol screening, background check, physical, functional capacity examination.
Basic computer skills are required.
Experience working in a team environment is a must.
Familiarity with an industrial environment is highly desirable.
Effective verbal communication skills is a plus.
Physical work environment is occasionally outdoors with exposure to varying degrees of hot and cold environments.
