Seeking a Housing Coordinator to join our team!
ACCS Integrated Teams provide clinical interventions and peer and family support to facilitate engagement, support functioning and maximize symptom stabilization and self-management of individuals and to assist individuals in developing skills, establishing natural supports and resources to live successfully in the community.
As a member of the ACCS team, the Housing Coordinator will work as a member of Persons’ Team having primary responsibility for supporting Persons in attaining and keeping stable, secure housing.
The Housing Coordinator will:
- provide education for staff and persons using ACCS services about tenancy issues, housing rights, and resources
- assist persons served with applying for and attaining subsidies
- work with persons served to secure housing that meets their needs
- guide persons served in learning the skills necessary to maintain community housing
- provide a single point of contact for developing relationships with landlords, housing authorities, and DMH Area housing staff, to foster communication and provide advocacy
Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours
Salary: $47,668/year

Required Skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in team environment
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills (in the English language) and present effectively to the public
- Must have valid driver’s license and available, dependable transportation and be willing to provide transportation to persons served in personal vehicle, as needed
Required Experience
- High school diploma and minimum of 2 years related experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Housing advocacy experience preferred
