Nuclear Maintenance Plant Instructor Lead - Plant Farley
JOB SUMMARY: The Nuclear Maintenance Plant Instructor Lead is responsible for the oversight and conduct of the Maintenance Training programs at the site.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent desirable
Background/Experience Requirements:
- A total of six (6) years of power plant experience of which a minimum of three (3) years is commercial nuclear power plant experience is required
- Commercial Nuclear Training experience is required
- Knowledge of the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) process is required
- Completion of INPO Instructor Certification Program (ICP) desirable
- The program includes individual, self-paced training at the station using distance learning materials, followed by a three-day session at INPO or a utility site.
MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Providing oversight for the conduct of all initial and continuing maintenance training programs, including the Maintenance Supervisor training program
- Ensure the Maintenance Training program durations are aligned to industry best
- Ensure the Maintenance Training program qualification structures are streamlined and effective
- Leading the site’s Maintenance Training instructors to close gaps to excellence
- Ensuring Maintenance Training programs are accredited
- Fill a designated position in the Emergency Response Organization
