This is a hybrid position based out of Feeding America's Chicago office location. At Feeding America, we believe in offering a flexible work environment. Employees can be in the office an average of 2 days a week (when not travelling for work) and work from home on other days. Employees also have access to a 30-day "work anywhere" program during the course of each calendar year that can be combined with PTO and/or holidays.
The Opportunity
The Manager, Digital Fundraising is responsible for the development and execution of multichannel digital fundraising campaigns to grow the pipeline of future supporters and convert new and existing donors to raise unrestricted online revenue for the organization.
Salary Range: $95,000-$100,000 Based on Experience
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the development and execution of accurate and timely digital fundraising campaigns, including managing project timelines, recommending tests and optimizations, and overseeing measurement tracking/reporting to meet revenue goals, in collaboration with marketing/media agency partners.
- In partnership with Director of Digital Fundraising, serve as primary point of contact for agency partners to drive campaign management - including approving media tactics, audience targeting recommendations, managing new channels/vendors and creative development in alignment with Feeding America brand guidelines.
- Manage in-market budget for Paid Digital Media fundraising, aligning/shifting channel investment to deliver optimal performance return on investment (ROI). In partnership with Philanthropic Operations, track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure budgets and agency partners are aligned and performing against strategy. Understand how to use optimization tools and apply statistical concepts to validate results. Manage all associated billing/invoicing.
- Manage Third Party and Peer-to-Peer fundraising campaigns, manage and coordinate Team Feed priorities; train Marketing Coordinators to provide platform maintenance/support and evaluate/onboard new platforms with a cost/benefit mindset. Develop toolkits and best practices in collaboration with Development team partners.
- Provide input into fiscal year strategies, budget and expense planning and activations for Paid Digital Media and Third Party, supporting Director in finalizing annual strategy.
- Serve as collaborative online fundraising lead across Direct Marketing and Digital Marketing teams to align digital fundraising goals with cross-channel fundraising and engagement strategy. Work closely with Direct Mail, Direct Response Television (DRTV), Email/SMS, Social Media, on cross-channel, online fundraising campaigns.
- Collaborate with Philanthropic Operations and Marketing Operations teams to track campaign KPIs and ensure data collection and feed accuracy. Resolve any issues connected to online channels.
- Project manage pixel implementation requests alongside Website & Analytics and agency partners, ensuring accurate tracking, as well as provide support on landing page and donation form development.
- Serve as subject matter expert on Paid Digital Media and Third Party practices, staying abreast of the quickly evolving digital environment and serving in consultation to key stakeholders throughout the organization including the Department Leadership Team, Brand & Content and Network members.

Required Technical Competencies and Experience:
- 4+ years of digital or Marketing experience. Nonprofit experience a plus.
- Technically proficient with base understanding of digital media channels, including Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Paid Social and Programmatic Display/ Connected Television (CTV).
- Familiarity with analytical and data interpretation, statistical methodologies and tools used in testing and reporting, including Google Analytics.
- Experienced knowledge of digital ad tech and the digital vendor marketplace.
- Strong creative, diplomatic, interpersonal, and presenting skills.
- Growth mindset with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Comfortable working with budgets and Microsoft Excel.
