National Grid is hiring a Mental Health Specialist for our Wellbeing Program in NY, based in our Syracuse office. This is a hybrid role that may require occasional overnight travel.
The Role
This position will focus on mental health initiatives in our New York region that support our employees' whole health.
What You'll Do
* Provide training to staff on mental health and wellness topics
* Facilitate workshops, presentations, and other educational activities
* Partner with other organizations and professionals to expand reach and expertise
* Collaborate with internal teams and departments to integrate health and wellness initiatives
* Address and support whole health topics like stress management and healthy relationships
About You
* Bachelor's degree in public health, health promotion, health education, or a related field required
* Master's degree preferred
* 3+ years of experience facilitating workshops and presentations to diverse employee populations surrounding mental health education
* Familiarity with union workforce preferred
* Adult MHFA Instructor Certification preferred
* Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) preferred
* Valid driver's license required

Salary
$77,000. - $90,000. a year
This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
