Join our team as an office coordinator, where you will play a crucial role in providing technical and administrative support to our Region 1 district maintenance office. A day in the life:

  • Monitor district payroll by identifying potential operational problems or errors and recommend solutions.

  • Compile and analyze activities related to the distribution of highway maintenance funds data by creating reports and analysis to draw conclusions and propose courses of action to the district manager.

  • Effectively and timely responding to customer technical complaints needing resolution.

  • Ensure the implementation of policies, procedures, and rules across the district.

  • Assist in clarify and implement legislation, procedures or improve operational processes.

  • Coordinate, plan, and monitor employee training within the district.

  • Analyze reports by identifying and monitoring the quality and quantity of work and initiate action to improve deficiencies.

  • Evaluate, analyze and review existing and new policies, procedures and administrative rules that support agency operations and administrative processes to ensure statewide compliance and consistency.

Minimum qualifications:

Three years of secretarial or administrative support experience that includes coordinating office procedures, preparing narrative and statistical reports, and administrative data collection and analysis;

OR

An associate degree in general office occupations and two years of secretarial or administrative support experience that includes coordinating office procedures, preparing narrative and statistical reports, and administrative data collection and analysis;

OR

An equivalent combination of education and experience.
