We are seeking a highly motivated individual to work in Operations Finance for a summer internship position. Individual must be energetic self starters looking to learn and improve the process of accounting and reporting for a variety of Finance activities. Through various finance/accounting assignments, the intern will accomplish the following learning goals:
*Recognize Sikorsky Products and manufacturing business rhythm
*Understand the role of Financial Analysts as business advisors to other functional areas.
*Gain an understanding of the impact of various areas on Sikorsky's financial statements.
*Develop proficiency with Lockheed Martin
systems (ie Hyperion, SAP, etc).
*Document critical Finance processes.
*Present summer experience(s)to senior
management.
Basic Qualifications:
-Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics, or other related discipline from an accredited college/university.
- Knowledge of and experience with financial concepts (income statement, balance sheet), successful completion of Financial Accounting and Management Accounting classes.
Desired Skills:
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and social
skills.
-Ability to balance conflicting priorities.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
