This is an on-site role in Seattle.
Pay Range: $28/hr – $32/hr

Our client is a leader in the gaming space and looking for a Playtest Coordinator to join their team. This person will provide project management, release management, safety investigations, emerging issue investigations, data and content support for Player Support and Safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform operations required to prepare labs for multiple playtests throughout the day
• Manage hardware and software installation and upkeep, this includes PCs and Consoles in multiple labs
• Drive daily playtest sessions for studio members, hosting the call, assisting players with getting into lobbies/getting into the game and capturing feedback and bugs. This
• Work within ADO and JIRA entering and triaging tasks and distribute the captured information accordingly
• Prop builds using multiple tools and quickly troubleshoot any issues in order to minimize impact on Playtests.
• Manage and drive the lab master schedule in Outlook and Office 365 spanning multiple organizations.
• Balance Lab time readiness time with side projects for lab improvement and maintenance, taking into consideration needs, deadlines and milestones. Quickly react to changing needs with little to no down time.
• Coordinate, recruit attendees and support Playtesting efforts across the entire Studio spanning groups as diverse as: Test, Production, Marketing, User Research, Localization, Business Development, but may also include special external guests.
• Actively work towards identifying and escalating roadblocks that might impact Playtests.
• Evolve as the project evolves and learn new processes, tools or methods as they come online.
• Construct structured and detailed Playtest reports, capturing feedback and following report out process. 

Minimum Qualifications and Skills

• Halo game knowledge with a passion for gaming and an understanding of video game development.
• Experience setting up, troubleshooting and maintaining PC's and consoles.
• Skilled with Office 365 and Microsoft Office apps, especially Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Competent with at Jira and/or ADO 
• Documentation experience capturing and maintaining operational and process documentation. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to relate to creatives (e.g. Artists and Game Designers), technical people (e.g. Programmers), and non-technical people (e.g. Administration, Program Managers, and Marketing).
• A self-starter with excellent organizational skills and the ability to complete tasks even with minimal supervision
• Experience exercising the highest levels of discretion and confidentiality as part of a team working with early builds and unreleased features
• A positive, team-oriented attitude; able to quickly adjust course and troubleshoot problems under pressure and time constraints.
• Work is onsite in person, schedule is 9-5:30 daily onsite in Redmond. This role does not offer WFH as an option.
• Must be able to lift and move PCs, consoles, and other equipment in and around the lab (50 lbs.)

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $28/hr – $32/hr.
