Position Summary
Eastern Dermatology is seeking a strategic, operationally savvy, and people-centered Practice Administrator to lead the business and clinical operations of our growing, multi-site dermatology group. This is a senior leadership role with broad responsibilities across operations, finance, compliance, and team development.
The ideal candidate will bring a record of leadership in healthcare practice management, strong financial and analytical skills, and a commitment to fostering an exceptional patient and employee experience. You will partner closely with our physician leadership and clinical teams to guide the organization’s growth while maintaining operational excellence and patient-first service.
Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership

Direct day-to-day operations across all sites to ensure streamlined, high-quality clinical and administrative workflows.

Collaborate with providers, staff, and leadership to drive alignment, engagement, and performance.

Optimize key operational systems including scheduling, patient flow, billing, EMR use, and revenue cycle processes.

Manage vendor contracts, equipment maintenance, and supply chain logistics. Financial Oversight

Develop and oversee annual budgets, financial reporting, and productivity benchmarks.

Ensure efficient revenue cycle management including billing, coding, collections, and payer
relations.

Guide strategic investments in technology, facilities, staffing, and services to support future
growth.
Compliance & Quality Assurance

Ensure organizational compliance with state, federal, and industry regulations (HIPAA, OSHA, etc.).

Maintain and regularly update operational policies and procedures to reflect best practices in dermatology.

Lead risk management and patient safety efforts, including infection control and incident response.
Team Development

Recruit, train, and retain a high-performing clinical and administrative team.

Conduct regular performance evaluations and support ongoing staff development.

Foster a professional culture grounded in collaboration, service, and continuous improvement.
Patient Experience & Community Engagement

Champion a service-driven patient experience across all locations.

Analyze patient feedback and satisfaction data to identify improvement opportunities.

Represent Eastern Dermatology in professional, civic, and healthcare forums to build partnerships
and community presence.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field required; Master’s degree strongly preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in medical practice administration, preferably within dermatology or specialty care settings.

Demonstrated success in managing multi-site healthcare operations.

Strong business and financial acumen with proven results in budgeting and performance
improvement.

Effective leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Experience with practice management systems and EMR; familiarity with ModMed is a plus.
