As a Security Officer - Telecom Patrol in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .
As an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic tech and media environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure atmosphere. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining clear communication with team members and visitors. You will contribute to a positive environment by embodying our values of agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
- Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence and observing for unusual behavior.
- Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and suspicious activities according to established protocols.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
- Support emergency response activities, including evacuations or medical incidents, in accordance with site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
