As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading utilities location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by conducting regular patrols and remaining highly visible throughout the premises. Job Schedule:
What You'll Do:
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the utility location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Monitor for and report any irregularities or hazards observed during patrols.
- Communicate with Allied Universal management and client representatives as needed regarding security-related matters.
- Document all activities, observations, and incidents according to site procedures.

- Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
