As a Security Professional - Entry Screening in Hunt Valley, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .
As a Screener in a food and beverage production environment, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure and welcoming atmosphere for all employees and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with a diverse group of people, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while utilizing technology such as computers or tablets. What You'll Do:
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Screen individuals entering the location to help to deter prohibited items from being brought into the facility.
- Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
- Communicate clearly with team members and site personnel regarding any security-related concerns or incidents.
- Document and report any suspicious activity or incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.

- A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
- Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age, as preferred.
- A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
