JOB SUMMARY:
As a Data Architect, you will play a key role in designing and implementing scalable and efficient data solutions that support the organization's data strategy. This role requires a strong foundation in data modeling, data management, and solutioning of data products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize data architectures that enable data-driven decision-making and business innovation

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
* Data Architecture & Modeling: Design and implement scalable and efficient data models that support business intelligence, analytics, and operational use cases.
* Solutioning Data Products: Develop and optimize data products, ensuring they align with business objectives and technical best practices.
* Data Integration & Interoperability: Design data integration solutions that enable seamless data exchange across systems, applications, and platforms.
* Medallion Architecture Execution: Implement medallion architecture principles using Databricks to support structured data processing and refinement.
* Self-Service Analytics Enablement: Support self-service analytics initiatives using platforms like AtScale and Dataiku, ensuring data accessibility and governance.
* Data Governance & Quality: Contribute to data governance frameworks to maintain data quality, security, and compliance.
* Cloud & Big Data Technologies: Utilize Databricks, DBT, and cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) to drive efficient data workflows.
* Collaboration with Business & IT Teams: Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to ensure data architecture meets evolving business needs.
* Security & Compliance: Ensure adherence to data security and compliance requirements across all data solutions.
* Emerging Technology & Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends and assess new technologies for potential impact on data architecture.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
* 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and data management.
* Strong expertise in designing and implementing scalable data models and data products.
* Experience with data integration, ETL processes, and cloud data technologies.
* Proficiency in Databricks, DBT, and data visualization tools such as Power BI.
* Experience supporting self-service analytics platforms like At Scale and Dataiku.
* Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., CDMP, Azure Data Architect) are a plus.
