Job Description
The On-site Service Engineer Team Lead oversees a team of technicians responsible for semi-routine preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment performance at the Micronsite. This role ensures operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and adherence to established procedures and KPIs.
- 5+ years of industry experience in a technical, maintenance, or equipment-focused role.
- Completion of relevant training and competency profiles for the position.
- Demonstrated understanding of equipment, maintenance processes, and troubleshooting.
- Experience in electronic, mechanical, chemical, or gas systems; semiconductor experience preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and develop a team.
- Excellent organization, prioritization, multi-tasking, and customer service abilities.
- Ability to manage KPIs, documentation, and customer-facing communication.
- Directs daily operational activities for a team of 12 technicians and serves as the primary customer contact for Installation Qualification issues.
- Establishes and audits local operating procedures to support training and ensure compliance for both the company and customer personnel.
- Performs special projects at the customer site with guidance from senior technical experts or project management.
- Maintains records of repairs and maintenance using the local database and manages preventive maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Assists with failure analysis by documenting modes of failure and communicating findings to engineering teams.
- Submits technical feedback to support equipment and product improvements.
- Writes weekly and monthly activity reports based on customer and regional management requirements.
- Works with the Site Lead and Site Manager to support 24/7 escalation coverage for the site team.
- Maintains punctual, reliable attendance and collaborates effectively within a team environment.
- Completes additional duties as assigned by leadership.
