As a Sourcing Specialist, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing innovative sourcing strategies that will drive cost savings, mitigate risk, and foster valuable partnerships with suppliers. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact on the company’s bottom line while contributing to a more sustainable and ethical supply chain.
This exciting opportunity will allow you to:
- Develop and execute category strategies based on industry best practices, including supply market analysis, competitive assessments, and cost modeling.
- Create and manage multi-year savings forecasts and annual savings targets.
- Lead the analysis of supplier capabilities, risk profiles, and financial stability.
- Design and implement a supplier segmentation program to optimize sourcing and management approaches.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of sourcing projects to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation of sourcing initiatives.
- Champion compliance with preferred supplier programs and sustainability guidelines.
- Mitigate legal and commercial risks associated with sourcing activities.
- Support RFx efforts with data gathering, presentations, analytical support, and negotiation preparation.
- Provide category strategy support by conducting market research, analyzing spend data, and developing solution proposals.
- Research expiring contracts and collaborate with business partners and BPO team members.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in sourcing, supply chain, vendor management, or contracting.
- Proven experience with RFI/RFQ/RFP processes.
- Experience presenting to and collaborating with leadership.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
- Excellent relationship management skills.
- Demonstrated business analysis skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong financial and business acumen.
- Experience in negotiations with third parties.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Master’s degree
- Project Management experience
- Spend analytics and reporting expertise
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $23.49 to $26.10 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
