National Grid is hiring a Senior Project Manager for our Gas Complex Project Management department in Waltham, MA. This hybrid role will work on average 2-3 days in the office or at a job site weekly. We are unable to offer relocation benefits for this role.

Our Team
Our team collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to successfully execute large complex gas projects while maintaining schedule and budget and mitigating risks.
What You'll Do
- Manage complex gas projects up to $20MM which may include transmission and distribution gas main replacements, regulator/take stations, and bridge/railroad/water crossings
- Drive efficiencies across projects for on-schedule, on budget delivery in alignment with company values, safety objectives and quality standards
- Coordinate and provide direction for the accounting, cost, forecast and construction functions as they relate to the completion of the project
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to provide project updates and drive the project(s) to completion
- Promote a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and efficient resource utilization throughout a network delivery organization
- Negotiate and execute contracts and change orders to design team, contractors and others
- Discover and implement the best methods to integrate and track data from several sources to drive project performance
- Assist the project management team with scheduling and tracking projects including analyzing data, tracking KPIs, and generating and maintaining reports
About You
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3+ years of experience in construction management, project management, or engineering including demonstrated experience with the successful delivery of complex projects required
- 3+ years of experience leading cross functional teams required
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at a time preferred
- Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence strategic decision making required
- Experience with PowerBI or similar tools to create visual dashboards preferred
- Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, MS Teams required
- Demonstrated ability to interpret information and analyze relationships among several parts of a problem or situation in order to clearly articulate the findings required
- Valid driver's license required

Salary
$123,000 - $138,000 a year
