Full Job Description
Stanley Black & Decker, Inc seeks Application Engineer, SEF Industrial (HQ in Danbury, CT). Responsible for overseeing all aspects of engineering application development for assigned products. Work with customers to identify and develop products for their applications; develop test protocols and support product testing; provide technical support, design guidance and training. Will also participate in development of new fastener technologies, products, and applications. BS in Mech Eng & 5 Yrs exp in any related occupation in applications engineering with direct customer interaction. Will accept MS in same and 2 Years of exp in same. Drafting and CAD experience; Experience in threaded fastener design; Experience in joint development and validation; DFMEA; DPAR; VA/VE.
