Structural Engineer - Cleveland, Ohio - JOB 26-00406
Salary Range: $60K - $100KPermanent Position with Benefits
Cleveland, Ohio area firm is seeking to hire a Structural Engineer with solid AutoCAD/Revit skills for structural engineering of commercial and retail buildings.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- EIT registration
- 5+ years' experience in structural design (will consider less experience)
- Proficient with AutoCAD and or Revit preferred.
- Other relevant software experience includes: Sketch Up, Visual Analysis, RAM Structural, FTP programs/utilities, Procore
- Knowledgeable with codes and standards
- Past experience with structural detailing of buildings
- Ability to travel for structural surveys is a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, design analysis, and construction cost estimates.
- Perform construction-related services, including shop drawing reviews, response to requests for information, periodic construction site observation, and occasional specialized structural inspections.

- Analysis and design of steel, concrete, wood, masonry, and light-gage structures.
- Analysis and design of shallow and deep foundations.
- Design of connections and construction details.
- Framing plans, foundation plans, building elevations, and sections.
Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
