Based on our internal equity review process, the starting salary for this position will be $16.66.

The current full hourly range for this position is $16.66 - $21.58.

Parks Tacoma is looking for individuals to join a dynamic team as a Summer Meals Recreation Leader for the Summer Food Program. Under the supervision of an assigned supervisor, this position will be responsible for ensuring all protocols and procedures are followed for the Summer Food Nutrition Programming at their assigned site location. Primary duties will include attending necessary trainings, ensuring all procedures are executed properly, staying on-site to assist with meal service, communicating effectively with Summer Meals Site Monitor, Program Monitor, and Program Director, facilitating nutrition-based programming, ensuring food safety protocols are being followed, and assisting with planning daily site activities around nutrition education.
