Full Job Description
HUG HYDRONICS, a division of Hunt Utilities Group, is seeking a Technical Support/Sales Associate Position.
Candidate is responsible for fully understanding the customers issues and provide expert troubleshooting. Candidate must have full technical knowledge of the product line, including problems customers may have. The will be the point of contact for the needed assistance and will follow-up with the customer through the troubleshooting and solution process in a timely manner.
DUTES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in product selection of heaters and accessories, Answer calls, emails and other requests from customers needing technical support. Travel to local areas to install, support, troubleshoot and repair systems. Maintain accurate records of all communications and actions taken. Track activities in ERP. Participate in customer technical training. Assist in developing online training materials. Suggest improvements as needed. Complete PEX layouts and other related design services. Evaluate and test new products or systems for customers. Assist in fulfillment. Work with sales staff to provide excellent customer care.
Skills/Education Required/Desired:
Technical inclination and trainability. Capable with hand tools and basic wiring. Experience and/or familiarity in the construction or HVAC industry. Computer skills for using email, Google docs, word processing and spreadsheets. Ability balance internal and external customer
requirements. CAD experience.
Core Competencies:
Strong communication skills, including technical and interacting over email, online meetings or in person. Strong passion for technology and interest in technical products. Zoom, Google and other types of online meetings, or ability to learn. Ability to speak patiently with DIY customers. Valid drivers license.
