SCM Transaction Support Specialist – Power Delivery
Alabama Power Company (APC) Headquarters – Birmingham, AL
Presence at office a minimum of 4 days per week is required
JOB SUMMARY
Supply Chain Management (SCM) Transactional Support Specialist role will serve as support to the contracts team and Power Delivery business partners. This position provides day-to-day support by performing a variety of duties that leverage contract and sourcing support systems, business processes, and category management strategies.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
Experience
• Supply Chain related experience preferred
• Experience with CAMP, Maximo, and Oracle a plus
• Supplier Information & Process Solutions (SIPS) knowledge a plus
• Experience working in a team oriented, collaborative environment
• Experience working with and maintaining data and document sharing sites
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Effective interpersonal and communications (both written and verbal)
• Strong computer skills working with Excel, Power Point and Word
• Must demonstrate strong internal customer focus in commitment and value
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with short "turn around" times and handle multiple customers/projects simultaneously
• Excellent organizational skills to plan and manage assigned workload and business partner expectations effectively
• Team player
• Self-starter
• Strong analytical skills
• Attention to detail is critical
KEY JOB RESPONSBILITIES
• Supplier Registration adds, changes, etc. associated with Supplier Information and Process Solutions
• Assist with Insurance Certificate Processing (as needed) (Service Contracts)
• Reporting and coordination with business units/contract agents regarding expiring Maximo Contract records
• Coordinate compliance document updates (i.e. Supplier Contractor Compliance Background Form and Contractor Statistical Data)
• Provide ad hoc support for special projects when required or necessary
• Drafting and processing low-risk documents, e.g. statements of work, change orders, contract amendments, and non-disclosure agreements
• Provide Transactional Buyer support for Purchase Requisitions (PRs), Purchase Orders (POs), and RFQs
• PO and Maximo Contract record updates such as rates, closures, and record creations
• Manage contract signature processes and Maximo document uploads
