What You’ll Do:
- Partner with UX Researchers to conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing, informing design decisions and identifying user needs.
- Design effective and efficient interactions for complex data-intensive applications, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Create low to high-fidelity wireframes and prototypes to visualize product designs.
- Develop concepts and prototypes to help stakeholders envision proposed user experiences.
- Communicate design concepts and user-centered design principles to product, engineering, and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the UX team to establish common design standards and shared UI components.
- Work with Product Managers, UX Researchers, and Engineers to define end-user needs and balance business requirements.
- Partner with business and IT stakeholders to plan and facilitate UX processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholder teams to ensure project UI goals and deadlines are met.
- Work cross-functionally with other designers to ensure quality and consistency.
- Maintain consistency in visual elements and UI behavior across products.
Must-Haves:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) and 4 - 6 years of related experience. Equivalent experience may be considered.
- Proficiency in UX design tools such as Adobe CC, Sketch, and InVision.
- Proven ability to analyze problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- Strong analytical, judgment, and decision-making skills.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $65 to $71 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
