A leading in-house agency team for a Fortune 500 company in Tysons, VA is looking for a Visual Designer with agency experience to join their team in a freelance to full-time, 40 hours/week, opportunity. This role is ONSITE, 5 days/week.
This Visual Designer will concept and design internal and external design tactics for campaigns including digital newsletters, social graphics (static and animated), digital ads, etc.
Primary responsibilities:
- Campaign concepting and development
- Develop, define, and maintain brand standards throughout the organization
- Video storyboarding and art direction
- Short-term high-impact pieces
- Basic illustration and Animation
The ideal Designer has a modern clean design aesthetic that is social friendly with a demonstrated understanding of typography, color, space, etc. You must be able to work independently and wear multiple hats to support a variety of projects.
Visual Designer Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of design experience in an agency environment (either in-house or traditional agency)
- Experience designing digital assets for social and web is required; Animation exp preferred
- Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Google Slides and Docs
- Comfortable presenting design ideas and perspective to stakeholders and Creative team
- Enjoy collaborating with other designers
- An overall desire to learn, create and have fun
