Volt is hiring Wiring Technicians (Electrical) on 2nd shift for a global energy manufacturing company in El Paso, TX.

As a Wiring Technicians (Electrical) you will:

  • Wire switchgear to customer order
  • Assemble and wire a variety of complex assembly and subassembly operations for switchboard and switchgear products
  • Component wiring schemes include PLC's, Circuit Monitors, and other advanced electronic devices
  • Mechanical assembly
This is a full-time fully on-site contract opportunity.

2nd Shift: 3:15pm-1:45am

The ideal candidate will have:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Previous wiring experience
  • A wiring certificate from a technical school or have a technical associates degree
  • Sound knowledge and experience in assembly and wiring techniques
  • Ability to lift and hold in place assembly parts weighting up to 35 lbs. repeatedly over work period
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints, material lists, and other source material
  • Must possess a good work record and attendance
**MUST be able to pass a background check and drug screen**

Pay Rate: $17.25/hr
