Volt is hiring Wiring Technicians (Electrical) on 2nd shift for a global energy manufacturing company in El Paso, TX.

As a Wiring Technicians (Electrical) you will:

Wire switchgear to customer order
Assemble and wire a variety of complex assembly and subassembly operations for switchboard and switchgear products
Component wiring schemes include PLC's, Circuit Monitors, and other advanced electronic devices
Mechanical assembly

This is a full-time fully on-site contract opportunity.

2nd Shift: 3:15pm-1:45am

The ideal candidate will have:

High School Diploma or GED
Previous wiring experience
A wiring certificate from a technical school or have a technical associates degree
Sound knowledge and experience in assembly and wiring techniques
Ability to lift and hold in place assembly parts weighting up to 35 lbs. repeatedly over work period
Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints, material lists, and other source material
Must possess a good work record and attendance

**MUST be able to pass a background check and drug screen**

Pay Rate: $17.25/hr
