Takes and further vets sales leads that are received from multiple sources.

Develops lead opportunities by collecting information that includes business pains/needs, timelines, authority and project teams, budget, etc.

Partners with Technical Resources in assigned PAKs to determine where they need support in moving opportunities forward.

Self-motivated, passionate, articulate, team player with a positive attitude, we do not micro manage!

Aggressively drives daily prospecting calls to build pipeline and closing smaller deals yourself!

Keeps detailed and accurate notes of all sales related activities in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database (Salesforce).

Plans and prioritizes your own personal sales activities.

Works alongside inside sales teams on specialized projects such as call-out campaigns, promo drives and webinar fulfillment.

Once trained, will maintained an in-depth knowledge of Altium products and technologies, competitive products and industry trends.

Must be able to self-manage pipeline and forecast systems!


Bachelors degree in Business, Communication or related field desirable or equivalent experience.

6m-2 years of sales experience or related technology industry experience.

Excellent written and verbal skills; ability to communicate clearly and effectively through various forums including email and telephone.

Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality and business profit.

Demonstrated persistence to move past gatekeepers and gain key intelligence regarding decision makers, customer needs, etc.

Strong understanding of basic sales skills including negotiating and persuasion.

Proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) databases such as Salesforce.com is desirable but not required.

Inside Sales/Telesales/Business Development Experience in a software or related technology company is preferred.
