Program Overview
The Comcast Center Internship Program (CCIP) immerses students into the daily operations of a contemporary media and technology company while working side-by-side with Comcast’s top innovators.  Students become an integral part of the Comcast team while working on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects within various business units. Throughout the experience, there is opportunity for exposure to mentorship and professional development while having some fun and cultivating meaningful relationships. 

Role Overview
The integrated Supply Chain Operations team is responsible for the daily fulfillment of kits through third party vendors direct to customers and to Comcast service centers for pick-up enabling customers with the ability to install and activate their Comcast services at their own convenience without paying a professional installation fee which in turn is a cost savings to Comcast. 
Intern Will:

- Track shipments into SIK warehouses from various Suppliers & Comcast warehouses to ensure timely fulfillment & receipt. Escalate delays as needed.

- Drive continuous improvement by monitoring and acting on various vendor related metrics and reports.

- Compile customer escalations from various sources (survey, social media, etc) to assist in identifying common issues.

- Assist in the creation and maintenance of reporting on a daily, weekly, monthly basis.

- Submit UPS claims for lost/damaged shipments as needed and reconcile payments received.

- Oracle Issue-To-Project transactions.

- Assist team with various operational projects with the intent to reduce expense and improve the efficiencies within the operations

- Manage Document Management SharePoint-update/format documents, organize and manage the SharePoint, provide status updates, etc.

- Manage the weekly SIK Audits at HQ

- Other duties as assigned


Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from a United States-based college or university with the Grad year of 2022 or 2021 (sophomores and juniors).

- Major: Supply Chain, Business or Communications major preferred

- Minimum GPA: 3.2

- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Access, Adobe Photoshop and Visio

- Strong interpersonal skills. 

- Must have excellent time management and verbal/written communication skills  
- Must have great attention to detail and organizational skills 

- Must have ability to interface with all levels of management 

- Must be able to work evenings (when necessary) 

- Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment

- Authorized to work in the United States of America.
