Notre Dame Health Care, the operator of a five-star rated rehab and long term care center, assisted living residence, memory care units, Medicare licensed hospice, palliative and pediatric care programs, care management program, and an educational center, all located in Worcester, MA seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide care giving duties to our residents in the Long Term Care facility.


Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) Job Responsibilities:


Performs all personal care activities under the direction of an RN and which may include, but not be limited to, assisting the patient or client with personal hygiene, ambulation, eating, dressing, shaving, and physical transfer

Maintenance of a clean, safe and healthy environment

Other activities as taught by a licensed health professional employee

Assisting with tasks associated with elimination including, but not limited to toileting, assisting with the use of the bedpan and urinal, providing catheter care including changing the urinary catheter bag, collecting specimens, and/or emptying ostomy bags, or changing bags that do not adhere to the skin.

Assisting with the use of devices such as a wheelchair or walker

Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises

Keeping records of personal health care activities.

Observing appearance and gross behavioral changes in the patient and reporting to the RN.

  • Must have a current C.N.A. Certification in Massachusetts
  • 1-2 years experience as a C.N.A. or home health aide (H.H.A. / HHA) preferred, but not required.
  • Must be available to work every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and every other holiday.
