Apex Systems is currently looking for multiple qualified recent graduates with a Science or Quality background to work at our client's location as a Lab Technician / Clean Room Technician.

This position requires an individual to work in a clean room environment processing unique materials in a growing industry. The position will require a person to have good visual acuity and some production/manufacturing experience is preferred.

Specific Duties of a clean room technician include:

  • Prepare products for sublimation
  • Record process data in Excel spreadsheets
  • Prepare products for inspection
  • Visually inspect ground materials for particulate or foreign particles
  • Remove all foreign matter from materials prior to shipment
  • Document/Record Inspection Results.
  • Package materials for shipment
  • Clean lab tools and glassware as required

Requirements:

  • 20/20 corrected vision
  • Excellent color recognition
  • Ability to work in clean room protective equipment for long periods of the day
  • Ability to work alone at inspection station for long periods of the day
  • Ability to work overtime when required
  • Background in manufacturing/production is preferred
  • Experience working in a cleanroom environment a plus, but not necessary

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelors/ Associates degree in the sciences preferred – Biology Chemistry Physics Natural Science Environmental Science Biochemistry or related
  • Candidate must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
