Imagine:You were just asked to provide a way for 25 people to meet who are located in 3 different countries and give them the ability to function as if they were in the same room. You have until tomorrow to set it up for flawless execution. Are you someone who can handle it?

Dart Container is looking for a Collaboration Administrator that is personable and able to understand customer situations, while also being very technical and able to get the job done. In this role you will be joining a dynamic team that supports the infrastructure that enables our business to collaborate worldwide.

As the Collaboration Administrator you will play a key role in an exciting, fast-growing business. You will work with cutting edge and impactful technology to install, administer, maintain, and support the enterprise conferencing, collaboration systems and equipment.

As the technical subject matter expert and technical liaison for the conferencing infrastructure and collaboration initiatives, you will contribute setting overall conferencing and collaborative strategy for the company wide.   

Core Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must possess all of the following:

  • Requires one of the following:
    • Bachelor’s degree, with an emphasis in computer science, information systems, or related field of study, preferred and two (2) years of collaborative platform experience
    • Associate’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field of study and three (3) years of collaborative platform experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent and four (4) years of collaborative platform experience
  • Two (2) years of experience with current Windows Server technologies
  • Knowledge of structured cable infrastructure, data networks and systems
  • Knowledge of and experience in the installation and maintenance of Windows and/or Linux operating systems
  • Familiarity with conference/presentation room control systems and equipment
  • Familiarity with enterprise-grade telephony systems
  • Ability to maintain composure and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced, customer-focused work environment characterized by rapid change, minimal lead times, and multiple competing priorities
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, including the ability to create basic reports, documents, presentations and spreadsheets in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
  • Experience providing technical support to customers
  • Ability to identify issues, compare data, investigate and resolve discrepancies
  • Strong verbal and written skills necessary in order to communicate intricate job-related processes for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Up to 50% domestic and international travel
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license and passport
  • Requires a favorable motor vehicle report upon hire
  • Additional work hours including weekends and on-call as required

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Microsoft and Cisco Collaboration Certifications
  • Microsoft and /or Cisco collaboration platform experience
  • Information systems experience (e.g. LAN/WAN/network)
  • Voice over IP (VoIP) and/or IP Telephony experience
  • Experience working with communication vendors and consulting with customers for their communications needs
  • Spanish speaking ability
