Kforce has a client that is seeking a Director of IT Shared Services in Midland, Michigan (MI). Position Summary: This position will serve as the Shared Services Director for Information Technology reporting to and collaborating with the CIO. The Shared Service Director is responsible for managing internal IT resources including:
  • Efficient planning and implementation of the operational aspects of high-quality, high-value service to physicians, clinical, administrative, and support departments at all Health subsidiaries
  • A key and contributing member of the Chief Information Officer Executive Committee
  • IT operational and capital budgeting and long range planning including FTE review (position control)
  • IT Policies and Procedures
  • IT Project Management Office
  • Training development and programming for Epic EMR for providers and end usersAssisting Directors and CIO in Human Resource activities including Job description coordination, FTE reporting, JPRs, and general HR communication
  • Directing the IT Service Center
  • Directing the application support for ERP/ECM systems
  • Directing the Epic Connect program including budget and project management
  • ITSM/Service Management implementation and planning including Service Level Agreements, Operating level agreements, Service Management coordination, and implementation
  • Assisting CIO in the communications to staff of important organization and departmental events
  • Assisting with the communications to general staff for important information including security assessments, general roadmaps, training dates, and general communication as needed
  • Planning and coordinating process improvement activities
  • Promoting teamwork and communication between staff, management, physicians, and clinicians while maintaining high standards and customer satisfaction


  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Master's degree in business or healthcare administration preferred.
  • Combination of Five (5) years of financial and technical experience in the field with three (3) years management experience in a health system or similar healthcare setting required
  • ISTM experience preferred
  • * Written and interpersonal skills needed to communicate successfully with individuals and groups and interact with people at all levels to communicate ideas and concepts in a clear and understandable manner
  • Advanced knowledge of the provider healthcare assists the affiliates with IT capital and operating issues as requested
