Job Title:  Tradeshow Fabrication and Logistics Specialist

Department: Marketing                                  

Classification: Exempt

Reports to: Marketing Communications Manager


Job Summary

The Tradeshow, Fabrication and Logistics Specialist partners with marketing and engineering to create and maintain tradeshow displays, organize promotional items and marketing materials, and provide tradeshow support by coordinating and managing the logistics of equipment, marketing materials and displays.


Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain, manage and organize show displays and equipment for North America Grain and Protein brands.
  • Partner with marketing, engineering and research and testing to execute their vision for product displays. This includes the design and fabrication of displays or partnering with a third-party to design and fabricate displays.
  • Manage inventory, maintain, and coordinate the shipment and return shipment of district manager marketing displays and materials.
  • Provide tradeshow support for North America Grain and Protein brands to include:
    • Cordination and logistics management to/from shows for equipment, marketing materials and displays
    • Cordination of show services
    • Pre-shw set-up, maintenance of equipment, marketing materials and displays during the show, and post-show tear down
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

  • Comply with all safety rules, policies and procedures.
  • Report any unsafe practices and/or conditions to their supervisor.

  • Report all near-misses, incidents, injuries, illnesses, including mobile equipment or property damage.
  • Participation in the site Safety and Health Program.



Essential skills


High school diploma or GED required.

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, agriculture or related field preferred.


Qualifications and Experience

Preferred qualifications and experience:

  • Tradeshow management
  • Operation of forklift and/or manlift
  • Welding
  • Understanding of how to use measuring instruments, read blueprints and operate hand tools.
  • CDL License


Required qualifications and experience:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with peers, managers and across departments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to think creatively/ come up with creative solutions to display or demonstrate the key benefits of a product and provide an engaging experience.


Work Environment

This job generally operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard officeequipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The employee may also be exposed to a variety of extreme conditions in the work environment and at job sites. The noise level in the work environment and at job sites can be loud.


Physical Demands

The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential job functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or craw and frequently required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel; and reach with hands or arms. The employee must occasionally be able to stand for up to twelve hours per day. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

The employee must wear personal protective equipment (i.e. eye protection, hearing protection, safety shoes, gloves, sleeves, etc.) when required.



The position requires up to 20% travel with some travel outside of the local area and overnight.
