The Registrar's Office at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire an IT Programmer Analyst to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

* Performs analysis and design of both new and existing data and
business processes that support Registrar Office operations and
directives of the Division of Enrollment Management.
* Designs and develops system procedures for existing and
proposed technology solutions, and analyzes production problems
for a variety of complex situations and proposes solutions
including detailed plans, diagrams, coding and testing of the
* Serves as a resource for resolving complex problems and issues
involving student record operations and data, develops
communication templates and processes and oversees electronic
distribution and automation of official communications from the
Registrar's Office.

or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience. The following knowledge, skills, and abilities are required:

* Intermediate knowledge of the methods and equipment used in electronic data processing, including system analysis and design, and computer programming techniques.
* Strong skill in writing programs for computer applications.
* Strong skill in analyzing and solving complex data processing and computing problems.
* Ability to coordinate a work team and train lower level programmers and analysts for specific tasks or assignments.
* Ability to communicate technical and other information to a variety of stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications The preferred candidate will possess the following additional qualifications:

* Knowledge of Oracle and SQL databases and data structures,
SQL development, crystal reports design, web design (HTML,
DRUPAL, XLM), software and hardware desktop support,
performing data analysis, and the ability to work independently
* Experience in Peoplesoft Campus Solutions, ImageNow,
Quicktest and Astra Schedule preferred.
