Overview

Community Resources For Justice (CRJ) is a unique, 140 year old nonprofit organization headquartered in Boston, that provides direct care as well as research/consulting services within the areas of the Mental Health and the Criminal Justice/Public Policy field. Our three divisions, Social Justice Services(SJS), Community Strategies (CS), and the Crime and Justice Institute (CJI) are all recognized for their effectiveness and contributions to this important work.



Responsibilities

The Project Lead will report directly to the Director of IT and be responsible for planning, coordination needs assessment, specification development, project monitoring, and project status reporting and system implementation of any new CRJ business solutions. This person will also maintain and modify the CRJ SharePoint website and support operations use of the site.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Act as the single point of contact responsible for all communication between departments and division programs on assigned projects.
  • Run and coordinate all scheduling and dispatching of the implementation team for each stage of the assigned project process.
  • Communicate and work with cross-functional teams to support all staff member's success and resolve any potential issues in assigned project.
  • Develop, execute and lead a project plan specific to the division or program and the agreed upon Statement of Work, including budget and resources.
  • Manage a comprehensive change control process across hardware, software, configuration, installation, and resource management.
  • Design and maintain SharePoint server portals and manage site content and capabilities.
  • Provide daily onsite maintenance of the existing all SharePoint information.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3-5 years' experience working directly in an IT department with strong enterprise wide project management experience.
  • Must demonstrate polished and sophisticated communication of technical information to non-technical employees - both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrate exceptional potential and commitment to an accelerated product knowledge path (Microsoft SharePoint 2016, Microsoft Project Management).
  • Committed to professional development including communication, teamwork, and customer service, plus product (HW and SW) knowledge, integrations and industry knowledge.
  • Strong working knowledge of Graphics design, .Net, and Java language.
  • Experience with SharePoint 2016 required
  • Microsoft Project Management would be a plus
