Summary

 

Define the future of Marathon Petroleum Corporation’s Learning and Development Culture by identifying current and future challenges. Seek a consistent enterprise approach to Learning & Development. Collaborate with business stakeholders to optimize vendor pricing, increase operational efficiencies, and strengthen and improve vendor relationship for L&D.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Conducts stakeholder assessments, assesses risks, and identifies appropriate change management tactics to drive organizational alignment.
  • Collects and analyses data and designs effective survey and program evaluations to address client needs. Develops strategy to evaluate effectiveness of assigned programs and processes gauge their success.
  • Partners effectively with HR Business Partners to develop program strategies and collaborates with Leadership and Business Partners to drive strong alignment.
  • Assists in identifying performance gaps.
  • Measures pre- and post-training performance using established training metrics to evaluate effectiveness in meeting stated outcomes.
  • Administers and monitors training programs within area of responsibility. Creates, uploads, and administers course content. May also develop the training programs.
  • Oversees aspects of content governance and executes audit procedures as defined by the Learning Council.
  • Provides support for course development and design, delivery, evaluation, process measurements, and cost management.
  • Assists with the learning development to drive training initiatives. Identifies and arranges suitable training solutions.
  • Develops and/or modifies multimedia visual aids, presentations, and web content.

 

Experience and Education

 

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2 or more years of Organizational Development, Information Technology, or related Human Resources experience required
