Job Description

Established company in Winston-Salem who has been in the legal industry for over Twenty (20) years is seeking a Legal Assistant or Paralegal to become an essential part of the team!

The position entails reception duties, assisting with preparing documents, internal filing, client contact, and other integral administration duties. Overall, this position would require someone to be the face of the office. You will need to be a motivated, self-starter who can work diligently in an independent work environment.

To excel in this role you will need great time management, customer service, and organizational skills. This position is perfect for those with admin, secretarial, and assistant experience in the legal field.


  • Draft correspondences and other formal documents
  • Plan and schedule appointments and events
  • Greet and assist onsite guests
  • Answer inbound telephone calls
  • Develop and implement organized filing systems
  • Perform all other office tasks
  • Preparing time-sensitive material
  • proof-reading and checking paperwork for accuracy/errors.
  • file documents traditionally and electronically


  • Previous experience in office administration or other related fields (at least 3 yrs)
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • ​Strong organizational skills
  • Legal Background/Experience Preferred
  • Must be able to demonstrate high ethical values and dependability
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook


  • at least three (3) years of administrative experience.
  • experience in the legal field one(1) year preferred
  • at least two (2) years of Data Entry
