Job Description



We are currently seeking an LicensedElectrical Engineer to work on lighting, power and fire alarm services from concept stage, design development, contract documentation, authority submissions and site administration to project completion.

Responsibilities include but are not limited:

· Compliance with all authorities and utilities requirements, NEC code, best engineering practices, etc.

· Design and specify power distribution and low voltage electrical systems, lighting design and fire alarm systems for buildings.

· Review and Estimate Construction budgets.

· Other duties as assigned.



· Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.

· Minimum 5 years of experience on major infrastructure and building projects, preferably on school construction, housing and other agency projects.

· AutoCAD proficiency.

· Revit experience is required.

· Excellent verbal, written, computer and communication skills.

· Ability to effectively interact with clients, architects, engineers, vendors, contractors, technicians, office, and field personnel.

· Ability to review shop drawings, respond to RFIs and attend construction meetings.

· Ability to work independently with minimum supervision or in a team atmosphere.

· Ability to adapt to multiple and varied responsibilities.

· Perform field inspections, measurements or calculations with staff.

· IT/telecom/data/security, sustainability, audits, renewable energy and LEED experience is a plus.

· Valid Driver’s License and clean MVR.
