We are seeking PCAs and CNAs to join our South Georgia team! The South Georgia team serves Wilcox, Wheeler, Telfair, Jeff Davis, Turner, Ben Hill, Coffee, Bacon, Pierce, Irwin, Tift, Berrien, Atkinson, Ware, Cook, Lanier, Clinch, Brooks, Lowndes, Echols and Appling counties. You will work alongside fellow caregivers to provide high-quality patient care. Our PCAs and CNAs work on an as-needed basis with flexible scheduling available.

Immediate positions available! Hiring for all Areas!

Responsibilities:

• Provide routine individualized care to the elderly, convalescents, or persons with disabilities

• Monitor and report changes in patient health status

• Provide personal care, such as bathing and dressing patients

• Teach family members ways to care for patient

• Provide patient care under direction of nursing staff

• Administer prescribed medications to patients

• Sterilize and prepare medical tools and equipment

• Assist in the transport of patients

• Provide companionship and basic care to patients

• Maintain a clean and healthy environment

• Ability to build rapport with patients

• Compassionate and caring demeanor

• Familiarity with medical terminology

• Ability to work well in teams

Requirements

• TB within the past year

• Drivers license

• Car insurance (In your name or on Approved Driver List)

• Current First Aid/CPR (Assistance obtaining may be available--See Area Manager)

• Pay based on experience and certifications (if any)​

Nightingale Services, Inc. was started in 1984 by President and Owner Harold C. Sims II in Savannah, GA. Since it’s beginning, Nightingale has provided several services such as Emergency Response Systems, Durable Medical Equipment, and Hospice services. After more than 30 years of providing healthcare services, Nightingale has consolidated all it’s resources into the Private Home Care industry. Primarily, Nightingale has provided services to clients under Medicaid waiver programs such as Community Care Services Program (CCSP) and the Service Options Using Resources in a Community Environment (Source), but has since began treating Veterans through the Federal Aid and Attendee Program, Worker’s Compensation Clients, and private pay individuals. Starting small in a two room office in Savannah, Nightingale has developed into one of the largest and most well known private home care providers in the State of Georgia. Currently, Nightingale has 12 locations across the State of Georgia employing over 700 healthcare professionals and proudly providing excellent service to over one thousand clients.
