Job Role Summary

  • Located in Spring, Texas, the Project Management Office (PMO) Senior Advisor will work closely with the IT Project Manager to execute the Global Real Estate business aspects of assigned project.
  • The PMO Senior Advisor represents the Global Real Estate function on behalf of the Project leadership to verify that the project delivers according to expectations
  • Manages communications with Project stakeholders, Governance and Global Projects and Commercial (GPC) management
  • Leads tracks of work within the PMO to further PMO success

Job Role Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary Global Real Estate interface for the project
  • Define project scope and be accountable for project definition, scope management, training plans and start-up plans
  • Responsible for business requirement definition and business design basis
  • Define as-is and to-be business process and associated change management
  • Responsible for gaining business management commitment for execution of business change management and implementation plans
  • Work with IT Project Manager to develop, document and gain alignment on project scorecard and project acceptance criteria
  • Develop and execute the project test plans ensuring requirements have been completed and acceptance criteria have been met, including responsibility for acceptance testing
  • Provide input to the gatekeeper regarding issues or concerns for communication to project and functional executive management
  • Provide input to gatekeeper regarding results of external projects reviews (cold eyes reviews, audits, risk assessments) and steward closure of review findings

Job Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience with  Capital Project Management Systems in the Oil and Gas sector, both within and outside the USA
  • Experience with at least one Construction Management collaboration solution
  • Understanding of project execution, cost/schedule management and Financial Management
  • BS/BE Civil, Mechanical, other Engineering
  • BS/MS Project Management
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Safety Management Systems and field experience in safety management

Preferred Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

Construction experience across multiple countries and regions gained in Commercial and Industrial Office and Residential building projects
