Our agency is a human service agency that provides counseling services to people facing challenges. The Grove Street program is an approved Caring Together Group Home Program for adolescents referred by the Department of Mental Health (DMH) and the Department of Children and Families (DCF). This program utilizes evidence-based treatment models to assist youth in moving into more independent settings. Our agency provides training and consultation on several of these evidence-based practice models, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Wraparound. Our agency provides excellent supervision (both individual and group), as well as various trainings in which to obtain CEU's, and opportunities for advancement. Our agency is an eligible employer for the Public Student Loan Forgiveness Program and provides tuition reimbursement for continuing education.


Residential Counselors ensure a supportive, nurturing, and structured environment, while providing guidance, advocacy, and case management to the youth. Counselors help to empower the adolescents served through the use of a trauma informed care approach utilizing such skills as compromising, negotiation, and problem solving. Residential Counselors help to keep the youth integrated into the community both locally and in their home towns.


- BA/BS in a Human Services/Social Services related field strongly preferred

- At least one year of experience working with children

- Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license

- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED/HiSET
