Senior Analyst, Product Management


New Payment Flows is a new team established in North America (NAM) to develop breakthrough business opportunities/revenue flow and bring them to market. Our focus is business payments - an area which is ripe for disruption and innovation, valued at over $25 trillion in NAM alone and the ideal opportunity to capitalize on both our Vocalink acquisition and the US and Canadian shift to real-time payments. Because our mandate is so unique and innovative, our team scope is broad and includes product strategy, product development, product go-to-market planning/execution, customer needs identification, and product sales.

The Senior Analyst, Real-Time Payments (RTP) Market Product Management, will support development of the product strategy and roadmap, go-to market and marketing plans, and requirements definition for pilot and MVP builds for new business applications. To begin, this individual will help support a new product that will enable small businesses to get paid in a faster, simpler, and safer way. In the future, this individual will also help to evolve this product construct to deepen the value delivered for small businesses, as well as to help identify and commercialize new payment solutions that pave the way for the future of the Mastercard RTP business. This role requires an individual who is comfortable with working in a startup fashion within a broader corporate umbrella. They should be an excellent communicator and collaborator, have strong project management skills, and be willing to roll up their sleeves for both planning and execution. In addition to focusing on the small business product, they will also support cross-application initiatives like market research and marketing activations for new product launches more broadly on the team.

* Conduct user, market, and competitive research, applying findings to assess new ideas/concepts and advance product strategy and roadmap
* Work cross-functionally with product leads, internal partners, and subject matter experts to support feature requirements definition and business case development
* Help to formulate and execute a robust go-to-market plan, including working closely with Marketing to deliver on marketing activations for trade shows, conferences, digital channels, etc.
* Provide internal and external sales enablement support, such as for client meetings and executive presentations
* Responsible for tracking relevant industry news and packaging distilled insights into a newsletter for distribution across the New Payment Flows team

* Self-motivated with a proven track record of delivering success while operating in a team and/or cross functional environment
* Strong passion for technology, payments, business payments; strong desire to always be learning
* Analytical and problem solving skills with an ability to identify key issues, structure analysis and provide recommendations effectively
* Excellent oral and written communication, analytical, and project management skills
* Bachelor's degree required
* Will be based primarily in Purchase, with flexibility to work from your home office
