Job Description

This role will focus on helping CVS Health identify and implement a portfolio of strategies to realize value for the MinuteClinic team achieve its mission of helping patients on their path to better health. As a Senior Analytics Consultant, you will work with a high-energy team that is motivated by the opportunity to drive better health outcomes for our patients and realize financial results for CVS Health. Responsibilities Include:
* Gleaning insights about our business from a variety of data sources
* Meet with a team from a different department to brainstorm new ideas for improving the CVS patient experience
* Work with technology partners and articulate how they could build a new product that will help CVS Health patients on their path to better health
* Collaborate with CVS clinical providers to hear about their feedback and suggestions for improving patient care
* Build a business case for a potential new service and present it to leadership
* Analyze a patient segment that exhibits problematic behavior and develop recommendations for addressing the issues you discover
* Measure the impact of a newly-deployed project that provides a better customer experience for CVS Health patients
* Design and execute a mini-test of a new idea to confirm or deny a hypothesis about patient adherence
* Communicate findings using a variety of formats, incorporating compelling visualizations where appropriate, to influence multiple audiences including those without analytical backgrounds

Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree required with 2+ years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree or equivalent in an analytic discipline and 1+ years of relevant experience
- 1+ years of experience and proficiency in processing large datasets (measured in hundreds of millions or billions of records) using SQL or SQL-like query syntax
- 1+ years' experience with data modeling/analytics with SQL, SAS, Tableau and/or other advanced analytical tools
- 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products - PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Word. Similar application suites (Open Office, Google Drive, etc.) are acceptable

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in consulting, preferably in the healthcare industry
- Experience conducting analytics using SAS, Tableau, or other BI platform

- Verifiable Bachelor's Degree
- Graduate degrees strongly preferred
