Description

Reporting to the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager you will provide insightful and accurate analyses and system support to help management make strategic and tactical decisions for Acushnet Company. This includes assisting in the administration of the Longview Planning system, preparing balance sheet, cash flow and performance metrics forecasts, and assisting in the preparation of the forecasted income statement.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare balance sheet, cash flow, and below operating income accounts for the three-year budget and monthly forecasts. Assist with preparation of forecasted income statement.
  • Assist in the administration of the financial planning system including maintaining and writing business rules, performing system maintenance and enhancements, developing management reports/analyses, maintaining/updating Longview codes and creating ad-hoc queries.
  • Develop US salary expense for the three-year budget for all operating expense and operations departments. Update monthly forecast as necessary.
  • Prepare and distribute WW volume reports by segment and region on a monthly basis. Prepare and submit monthly National Golf Foundation reporting for various products.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly analyses of actual to budget and prior year results, including in-depth explanations.
  • Perform special projects and ad-hoc requests as necessary.

Qualifications
  • BS in Finance or Accounting. MBA and/or CPA preferable
  • A minimum of five years of experience in financial reporting/planning.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and the ability to create and interpret detailed financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement and cash flow.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including the ability to present and explain financial results in a credible, professional manner to a wide variety of audiences.
  • Understanding of financial statements and GAAP.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access and PowerPoint a must).
  • Experience with enterprise planning solutions.
  • Experience with Longview planning software is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
