The senior research analyst is a high-profile role that demands an experienced professional with strong analytical skills, the ability to create actionable commercial insights and superior presentation skills. The person in this role will create and serve as the face of CBRE's perspectives on Philadelphia-area property and market dynamics.

This role serves multiple internal and external constituencies-sales professionals, management, media, real estate associations, clients-by providing relevant insights on market conditions and trends.


Development of presentations, whitepapers and other content that positions CBRE as the dominant voice in the industry and market; 

Active participation in new business development initiatives; 

Supporting and leveraging global, regional and local research initiatives as needed; and, 

Providing market share and analysis for earning calls as needed.

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in Real Estate, Economics, Finance, business administration or related field of study. Master's degree preferred. A minimum of 3-6 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Local market knowledge/experience strongly preferred.

Exceptional communication skills. Ability to synthesize information and translate ideas/concepts and trends into "consumable" insights, both in written and presentation format, that help internal and external clients use Research effectively in business development and decision-making.

A keen understanding of Research fundamentals. Knowledge of how to apply research and data analytics expertise to the benefit our brand and core businesses.

Effective/efficient problem-solver. Can make informed decisions when presented with conflicting information or opinions. Able to exhibit sound judgment and provide a clear path to resolution.

Commercial mindset. Able to identify trends and think about the market in innovative ways. Can translate ideas into thoughtful deliverables that differentiate CBRE, our professionals and our products

Strong project management. Can oversee multiple projects, determine priorities and develop a through-line to completion, including harnessing the right resources and collaborating along the way.

Ability to work in a matrixed environment. Can navigate the dynamics of a large company, with a centralized Research function, while also understanding how to support/align global, national and local initiatives.

Team player. Able to work across Marketing, PR, Research, Operations and Local and National Leadership to achieve collective goals and create exponential results.

Strong technical skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and amenable to learning and overseeing technologies and systems related to data collection, extraction and tracking.
