In Research, Development & Quality (RD&Q), your skills can be the special ingredient that brings our brands to life. As part of a fantastic team of scientists, engineers and nutritionists, you'll work tirelessly on product design or development, process development, quality, nutrition, sensory and food safety aspects to ensure we deliver a consistent, delightful consumer experience. Purpose of Role:

Primarily accountable for leading Productivity Platform with focus on identifying scalable step change/breakthrough opportunities and delivering executable programs to the regional teams. In addition, accountable for other ingredients that meet well-being formulation requirements. Position will build a multiyear global productivity road map, in collaboration with Global ISC/Procurement, G&C Pipeline lead and G&C region leads, and fully manage all program aspects including the communications to key stakeholders. Work with region & global teams to validate feasibility and value for opportunities with KPI's for region deployment readiness.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Build a multiyear Global Gum Productivity Road Map to identify a portfolio of opportunities contributing to 120% sufficiency of going forward G&C annual contracts and delivering executable programs to the regional teams. Leverage scalable step change/breakthrough opportunities built on enabling technologies (Discover team), E2E solutions, supplier innovation and scalable region programs.
  • Define scope requirements and prioritize the most impactful opportunities to complete early development phase through strong project management, technical guidance, and coordination. Strong collaboration with region teams to validate project feasibility and readiness in preparation for moving projects to region deployment phase.
  • Align global and regional Gum productivity margins, goals, and timing. Track productivity, address gaps, and communicate to stakeholders.
  • Leverage ideation sessions to identify programs, complete scoping and initiate development activity.
  • Leverage and influence ingredient tower programs to benefit the G&C Category.
  • Drive technical rigor, communicate clear priorities and build effective teams.
  • Work with NPD team to leverage technologies and formulation systems focused on cost to improve NPD margin.

  • BS in Food Science or Engineering
  • Work experience in Food/Snacks, R&D function preferred (min 5 years)
  • Experience with value engineering/total cost optimization is desired
