    The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a first level supervisor, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees and additional employees of ID who serve as Contracting Officer Representatives and oversee a variety of areas within the Base Operating Support Contract.

    Responsibilities

    • Plans, organizes, and directs the activities and a variety of additional COR disciplines, ensuring that all comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meets 81st Training Wing (TRW) and Mission Support Group (MSG) needs.
    • Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management.
    • Represents 81 Infrastructure Support Division with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
    • Oversees the Engineering Program on the base as it relates to existing facilities and systems, as well as planned improvements in order to provide increase efficiency of base operations.
    • Serves as a consulting architect/engineer on all design aspects of assigned projects. Provides professional consultations to the Contracting Officer on a broad range of difficult architectural/engineering issues and problems.

    Occasional travel - Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military and commercial aircraft
