Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive market research and compensation analyses; present findings and recommendations to support pay equity and competitiveness.
- Complete salary surveys and assist in compiling and reporting personnel data for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with job classification reviews and updates, including coordination with the HRIS Analyst to ensure system accuracy.
- Maintain documentation, logs, and tracking systems for classification and compensation activities.
- Serve as a resource to City employees and managers on classification, compensation, and related policy interpretation.
- Participate in and may lead classification studies, including data collection, research, and analysis to develop recommendations.
- Develop and deliver training sessions related to classification and compensation; tailor content to meet departmental needs.
- May supervise staff, including participating in hiring, training, work assignments, performance evaluation, and, as necessary, disciplinary actions.
- Support department initiatives and perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
